Get to Know Rachel

We have been delighted to see a lot of new faces in recent months, so much so that we thought we would all re-introduce ourselves.

First up... our full time Beauty Therapist, Rachel.

How long have you been with BB?

5 years minus 4 weeks but we’ll not talk about that haha! (If you know Rachel you will know that Rachel tried out a new career path in July 2021 but decided it wasn't for her and we were delighted when she returned to Be Beautiful!)

Why did you join Be Beautiful?

I really wanted to work somewhere where I felt I could grow. In Be Beautiful I have from the day I started, it’s helped me gain confidence to be the Beauty Therapist I am and it’s truly a lovely place to work in with lovely people - there is a lot to be said for that.

What are you most excited about in 2022?

Well I am recently engaged so I’m very excited to get planning for my wedding within work I’m looking forward to training in Lamination Brows as I just love the fluffy brow look recently.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

To always be yourself.

Be who you are and say what you feel because the ones who mind don't matter, and the ones who matter don't mind.

What do you love most about what you do?

I’ve met some really amazing people, a lot of truly lovely clients who are now friends. I like meeting people from all walks in life. I’m a massive deep thinker and I find I’m very empathetic and it’s truly amazing how we all have ups and downs and it’s lovely to experience all these moments with my clients. I also love my work aspect and learning new things and making people leave happy.

What is one thing you are most proud of?

Having unique skills to carry out lovely treatments and make people feel confident.

I love doing nails, eyebrows and massage! My personal favourite choice is always massage, it makes you feel like a new woman.

If you won ten million pounds today, what is the first thing you’d buy?

A Great Dane (I’ve always wanted one! ), money to my family and money to charities like Chest, Heart and Stroke & animal shelters.

What was your first job?

I worked in a Eurospar deli counter at 14, was absolutely buzzing to get £20 for a days work to spend it on WKD at the weekend
