Get to Know Jenna

We have been delighted to see a lot of new faces in recent months, so much so that we thought we would all re-introduce ourselves.

Third in our series is... our owner, Jenna.

How long have you been with BB?

9 months! It has absolutely flown by too. I was so excited to purchase the salon from Victoria and the girls have all made me feel really at home and welcome since starting.

Why did you join Be Beautiful?

I have lived in the country my entire life so I love that the salon is in a country village. I love the rapport the clients and team have and the incredible reputation Victoria, Pamela, Prudence and Rachel have built.

What are you most excited about in 2022?

I cannot wait to see the salon complete after the refurbishment is complete. I struggle to have patience with things so that fact that it is taking a few months is annoying for me but I know it is the right decision for the team and clients. I also cannot wait to introduce more new treatments to the salon. Since launching Lash Extensions, they have been a huge hit. I love seeing the team grow and enjoy their work.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

To be relentless. Before, I used to get upset when things went wrong, now I just look for another way to make them work.

What do you love most about what you do?

Every day is different. One day I could be placing orders or speaking with clients, the next I am booking trainings for the team or meeting with building contractors.

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you?

I used to sing and act. I thought nothing of jumping on a stage in front of thousands of people and singing, dancing or acting. Now I couldn't imagine anything worse.

What is one thing you are most proud of?

My incredible family. My husband has also built an amazing business which I am incredible proud of him for doing and my three children Annie, Isabella & Freddie are my world. Everything we do is for them. In work, this year I won Young Entrepreneur of the Year & Young Businesswoman of the Year - these were huge moments for me and I am still in shock.

What is your favourite treatment to give or receive?

Definitely my nails - I hate not having them done!

If you won ten million pounds today, what is the first thing you’d buy?

A holiday home. My husband and I work really long hours so I would love for us to have somewhere to escape to, to spend more time with our children.

What was your first job?

Working in a Newsagents - and I loved it! I loved having my own money and independence.

What did you want to be when you were little?

A singer.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?

Chicken on chips with cheese and chicken gravy - I love bad food!
